Education and self assessment in NEUROSURERY

GOAL

·         To create an educational website specially designed for promoting online continuous
education through teaching material (text, pictures, video clips and relevant papers),
combined with a self assessment program.
·         To provide neurosurgeons with current information related to the management of a broad
spectrum of neurosurgical disorders.
 
·         To promote economic sustainability through affiliation to international societies, and financial support from  companies interested on sponsoring it.

·         Maintenance system


 METHODOLOGY

 Neurosurgeons or in]training person  participate in the learning process by attending an online treaming session, elaborated by an accredited faculty of  specialists  in specific topic areas,
 followed by answering questions.

 METHODOLOGY

After the satisfactory completion of an  educational module (which requires a minimal
performance) the participant  should claim his national society for credits that can be used as educational  activity.

 MOODLE is a course management  system (CMS) - a free, Open Source,software package designed using sound pedagogical principles, to help  educators create effective online learning communities.
